Growth and change have been a consistent part of our culture since we began as a family-owned business over 50 years ago. Today that family has grown to over 1,000 associates. We are recognized as innovative leaders in the distribution of petroleum and renewable energy products, lubricants, tires and parts for the automotive care market and air handling systems.

Our growth reflects our passion for challenging the status quo, thinking differently and creating our own road. We call this “Finding a Better Way”. It’s an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages intelligent risk-taking to capture market opportunities. It’s empowered associates challenging assumptions and finding new ways to meet the challenges and opportunities of the marketplace.

We find a better way by genuinely connecting with our customers and business partners. We leverage our knowledge with innovative thinking to deliver unconventional solutions that fulfill their needs.  The goal is to give them a competitive edge in their markets.

Finding a better way extends to our communities and environment. In it’s 25th year, the U.S. Oil Open brings together more than 250 business and community partners, and has raised more than $10 million to fight poverty in Northeast Wisconsin.  Our new corporate headquarters incorporates environmentally sustainable design with energy costs less than half of a typical office building.

Looking to the future, we will compete in categories shaped by global trends and transformational technologies, such as next generation biofuels and hybrid-powered transportation. Finding a better way requires strategic insight and our continued employment of long-range planning.
